What a year

February 2nd, 2009

Industrial gods Throbbing Gristle are playing their first ever NYC show in April at Masonic Temple. Tickets go on sale today at 3PM. Funny, I never considered them industrial but experimental post-punk in the vein of This Heat. Oh who cares! I am so excited for this, this in addition to Amebix playing makes me think that this year is going to be an amazing year.

I can’t wait for summer! I can’t wait for summer! I can’t wait for summer! or in this case SPRING!

G-d bless Scenic for booking this!

More deets at the facebook page for the event. Sadly I’ve never seen Genesis around Williamsburg.

EDIT: $40  for MASONIC TEMPLE.  :|

Thanks, Syb, I hadn’t heard that song in a few too many years, and it snapped me right back to where I need to be at this moment.
